EbJel Flomo Legacy Enterprise operates 17-bedroom hotel and 5-bedroom guest house in Zorzor, Lofa County. This branch of our business is called EJ Legacy Hospitality. When the Flomos visited Zorzor in 2014, there was no comfortable and secure place to stay. We figured that others might have the same experience as us. In 2015 we began our hospitality business, beginning with a guest house, to help those who are in need of an affordable and safe place to stay. Our motto is “Your Home Away from Home” because we want our guests to feel at home. Our guest house has hosted people from many organizations, including USAID, the UN, the Carter Center and others. Individuals such as the vice president of Liberia, presidential candidates, and others have also lodged there. The response was overwhelming and with only four spacious bedrooms, space was limited. In 2018, we began the construction of our 17-bedroom hotel to accommodate multiple patrons and organizations’ groups. We opened the EJ Flomo Hotel on July 26, 2022. Our long term goal is to build a hotel in each of Liberia’s fifteen counties.

In addition to providing a safe and conducive place for our guests, our hospitality business in Zorzor has opened the way for development. People who have been wavering or indecisive to invest or come back home will be encouraged to open businesses and residents living abroad will have a place to stay when they visit their relatives. We have and continue to create jobs for many unemployed young adults.
